Why I Built This Service
After years of managing my own rental properties, like many investors, I became increasingly interested in short-term lets. With growing demand and the opportunity to significantly increase returns, it quickly became clear that there was strong potential in this space. Seeing a property generating around £900 per month as a long-term let, achieve closer to £3,000 per month as a short let, made it an obvious strategy to explore. However, while the income increased, so did the workload. What was once a passive investment quickly became a second full-time job. Managing a successful short let involves so much more than just listing a property. From professional photography and furnishing, to dynamic pricing, guest communication, check-ins, cleaning coordination, maintenance, and reviews; every detail needs to be handled with precision, consistency, and speed. With a strong business background in PA and management, I developed the organisational, communication, and operational skills required to run short-let properties smoothly and efficiently. After successfully managing my own portfolio, and then working with other investors, I founded Short Let Management to provide a fully managed service for landlords who want to maximise their property’s earning potential without the day-to-day involvement. My goal is simple: to help you get the most out of your investment, while having complete confidence that your property is being managed professionally, reliably, and to a high standard.
